Match Report
Ipswich School Girls-U15A vs  Brentwood School
On: Monday, 08 Oct 2018
Venue: at Home

The Girls were full of confidence coming into this cup game with a win under their belt on Saturday and welcoming back Esmae, Sophie and Harriet.

The game started slowly and both teams struggled to gain control, with chances at both ends. We started to gain control of the game with good link up play from Maddie, Mary to open up the midfield.

Esmae and Anna linked well with Willow and Harriet to create chances. We made the most of these chances by scoring 5 before half time.

The girls at half time said felt like there were more goals in it and set themselves a target score line.

The work rate and tempo of the second half was high and we created more and more chances only to be denied by some great saves. The second phase was where we got some luck in the second half.

We created chances and won some short corners. Captain Megan scored of two of these, one was a nice reverse stick finish into the bottom corner.

The movement from the forwards was the best I have seen all season, creating gaps in the Brentwood defence for us to exploit, which we did.

Full Time 9-0.
